Our horizontal carton erector machines automatically erect flat-lying folding cartons, fold the bottom flaps, and seal the bottom of the carton in preparation for the subsequent packaging process. Depending on the model, up to 50 cartons per minute can be processed. Thanks to their horizontal operation and compact design, these carton erector machines can be integrated into automated packaging lines. Different models accommodate various carton dimensions and performance ranges. Once erected, the cartons are ready for downstream process steps such as filling, sealing, labeling, or palletizing.

A horizontal carton erector (also known as a carton former) is an automatic machine that performs case erection on flat cardboard blanks and forms them into ready-to-use cartons. The erection process takes place sideways or horizontally, enabling high cycle rates and stable processing.
Horizontal case erection machines are suitable for folding cartons in various sizes—from small-format product packaging to larger shipping cartons. They can be flexibly adapted to your individual carton dimensions.
The machine automatically pulls flat blanks from the magazine, erects them using a folding and forming system, and glues them to the bottom flap—usually with hot glue or adhesive tape. This ensures high process reliability and consistent quality.
